Obituary For Yolanda S. Buchanan

Yolanda is survived by her husband, nieces, nephews and more family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister and brothers. She will be missed her very much, but we know she is enjoying her family reunion in heaven.

Yolanda was employed in the electronics field for 30 years. Twenty of those years were with one company. She was a cheerful person that everyone enjoyed working with and being around.

Yolanda enjoyed cooking for people and people enjoyed eating her food. She was a master cook! She could make meals from the Philippines, as well as, American dishes that would fulfill any appetite. The sweet dishes Yolanda made curved any sweet tooth, from the youngest to the oldest sweet tooth. Yolanda loved catering for all type of parties. Her eyes lit up when she saw people enjoying her cooking.

Yolanda was an avid 49er and Giants fan. She enjoyed going to games and watching them on TV, especially with family and friends. Her husband enjoyed watching games with her. They went to many games in San Francisco, Oakland, and Santa Clara. They always had the best time.

Yolanda also enjoyed traveling. A trip she made with her husband to Paris is a particularly memorable trip. It was for her birthday. They toured the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and took a boat ride around Paris. Yolanda enjoyed visiting the Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris and they were blessed to see it before its tragic fire.

As always, anywhere she traveled, Yolanda had friends and Paris was no exception. In Paris she got to celebrate her birthday with her husband and friends, and they had a great time.

Yolanda was so full of joy and laughter. She was beautiful inside and out! She was loved very deeply by her husband.
