Victor Chu was born on July 26, 1933 in China, and entered into rest on October 24, 2018 in Fremont, at the age of 85.

Victor survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Rosita Chu. Loving father to M.D. Jason S. Chu (Betty) and M.D. James M. Chu. Caring grandfather to Brittany Chu, Lindsey Tsai (Joe) and Jeffrey Chu.

He retired from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory after 20 years as a Project Engineer, also was an avid golfer and passionate about music. Victor played the Chinese Zheng.

Visitation will be Friday, November 2, 2018 4 to 8PM at Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd, Fremont, with a Chapel Service on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11AM at the mortuary. Burial will be follow at Irvington Memorial Cemetery, Fremont.
