Toshiko Grappone (Kamei) of Newark passed peacefully on January 28, 2015 at the age of 82.

Toshiko is survived by her loving husband Alfonso of 62 years; sons: Stephen (Debbie) and Tommy (Barb); daughters: Shirley and Linda (Mark); grandchildren: Jennifer (Jason), Katie, Andrea (Robert), Ryan, Stepy, Nicole, and Michael; and great-grandchildren: Molly, Landon, Alex, Tyler, and Zachary.

Her interests and hobbies included cooking, sewing, swimming, puzzles and high fashion. Her peaceful singing often filled the house with songs from her childhood of her native Japan.

A private family service was held in remembrance of Toshiko.
