Obituaries

Ruben Calles was born October 9, 1951 in San Jose and passed away January 8, 2015 in Hayward, at the age of 63. A lifetime resident of the Bay Area, Ruben was a devoted Father, Grandfather, Brother and Son.

Ruben was a proud member of the Native American Muwekma Ohlone Tribe. Many people may best remember Ruben for his sense of humor, willingness to always lend a helping hand and his love for Bay Area sports, especially the RAIDERS. Ruben was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 15, 8:30am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 3789 Second Street Fremont, 94536.
