Obituaries

Ramona, a longtime Fremont resident, passed away peacefully at home on October 30, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Campos. She is survived by her children, Heather and Brandon. “Nana Mo” to Benjamin and Bradley. Sister to Robert, Valerie and Cynthia, and daughter to Helen Mills.

All her life, all Mona wanted was to be a mom and she was the best. She selflessly put her children first and lovingly accepted all their friends as family. Mona was passionate about sewing, which started at an early age making her own clothing. She continued her passion through the years with amazing Halloween costumes for her children, and grandchildren.

Ramona bravely fought pancreatic cancer for 3 years. She did not lose her battle, but won in the way she persevered, showing everyone around her what strength and courage looked like.
