Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Beatrice and your family. Manuel is one of the best neighbors to have around. I remember how friendly and welcoming he was when we first moved in. You can count on him to keep the neighborhood safe. He had a great heart with the interest of the community in mind. His passion for & skills in gardening is remarkable, as shown by his always perfectly manicured front yard that we all envied. Manual is dearly missed by me, my husband and my 2 kids. Melanie and Yi

Manuel would always greet us and ask about our family and how we were all doing. Even though months and sometimes years had passed us by it was as if time didn't matter. He grabbed each moment of his time here on earth to express his caring for those he knew and cared for. He was a very giving man. May he live in our memories as an example of that which is truly important in life - our relationships. May he rest in peace. Joe & Hilda Furtado

Our hearts are truly saddened with the passing of our Amigo Manuel Bulcao. He was one of my dad's best buddies. "Joseinho" and "Manuelinho" is how they addressed one another. Amigo was present at so many important mile stones in my life from literally my birth to the baptisms and birthdays of my children. He loved kids and mine loved him back. Always high fiving Conner and Christiana and letting them assist in the church offertory. He was a kind and gentle man, always ready to help. He will be truly missed.

I'm soooo sorry to hear about your dads loss Goretti. I do have some great memories of him back when I lived in Newark and was involved with the Portuguese Community with my family. He was a very nice man and always helpful with the Portuguese Community and I remember him serving Soupas, dancing and always having a great time. May he now rest in peace. God Bless you all Rosemary (Silveira) Arnold
