Obituaries

Carol Andrade was born November 15th 1931 at Bethel Island Ca. Her proud parents Herman and Antoinette Perry raised Carol along with her four brothers, Morris, Edward, Melvin and Armand along with her two sisters Alvina and Sharon in Mission San Jose. Carol attended Washington High School and was very involved in school activities as well as being a majorette in the marching band. While in high school Carol and Alvina worked as waitresses at the International Kitchen, a high end restaurant, on Peralta in Fremont. Carol always took a lot of pride in her appearance and spent the majority of her hard earned money on clothes. While attending Washington High, Carol met the love of her life, Ernie Andrade. He graduated one year ahead of Carol. Ernie used to ride his horse to go visit her at school. From the beginning Carol and Ernie formed a strong bond and on June 19th 1949 were married. In 1956 Carol and Ernie bought their first and last home in Glenmoor Gardens on Farwell Drive in Fremont. Carol and Ernie prided themselves in having and immaculate home inside and out and the very memorable barn with red and white trim paint. She specially was proud of the beautiful living room and garden. Carol and Ernie were blessed with two children Linda and Jeff, followed by three grandchildren, Alysia, Aaron and Courtney. Then four great grandchildren, Grant, Savannah, Gunner and Steven. Carol was filled with unconditional love for her family and good a listener. She was a devoted Christian and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will always remain in our hearts.

Visitation will be held from 5PM to 8PM on Monday, November 5, 2018 with a Vigil Service at 6PM, Fremont Chapel of the Roses, 1940 Peralta Blvd., Fremont. Funeral Mass will be held at 10AM, Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Holy Spirit Church, 37588 Fremont Blvd, Fremont. Followed with a burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward.
