Obituaries

Born September 16, 1935 in McKinney, TX, and entered into rest on December 2, 2014 in Fremont, CA at the age of 79. Survived by her children: Michael Smith, Julie and Jeff Sanchez, and Susan and Mark Leonard; grandchildren: Kevin Sanchez, Kelly and Ava Leonard; and siblings: Lloyd Stinson and Reba Reinburger.

Betty was a graduate of Oakland High and attended UC Berkeley. She adored her grandchildren and loved her dog Lulu. She was President of the American Business Women's Association twice. For years she volunteered with the Tri-City Volunteers and at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop. She was a marathon bridge player and enjoyed trips to Pajaro Dunes with her best friends the Beach Beauties. She will be dearly missed.

A private Celebration of Life will be held for Betty on March 14th in Monterey, CA.
