Obituaries

Annie Johnson Nunes was born in Byron, WY on April 23, 1913 and died July 2, 2014 in Fremont, CA. Survived by her children: Pearl Ann Bekker (DeMoyne), Carolyn Glauser (Tony), Michael Nunes (Ann), Kathy Thorsen (Bill), and Robin Roderick; 22 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren plus one on the way; and 1 great-great granddaughter. Preceded in death by her husband Frank, grandson Aaron, and 2 great-grandchildren: Rebecca and Kimberly.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5, from 9-10:30am in the Relief Society Room at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Bayside Ward, 36400 Haley St., Newark, CA 94560. Funeral Service will begin at 11am at the church. Burial will take place on Sunday, July 6, 2pm at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 48800 Warm Springs Blvd., Fremont, CA 94539.
