Michael Francis Fox passed away on March 27 in Fremont, CA, at the age of 70. A native of Brooklyn, New York, and proud Irish Catholic man, he was the son to John Harvey and Margaret Patricia Fox. Following his tenure as a Corpsman in the US Navy, which led him to embark on a fulfilling career as an ER nurse at Kaiser in Hayward, California, where he met the love of his Debbie Richards.

In Fremont, Michael nurtured a family alongside his wife Debbie, raising their four children, Matthew, Katie, John, and Mary. He changed career paths from nursing to working at Allstate Insurance for nearly 20 years, where he met his best friend, Robert Meade. Once his children had grown, he reveled in the joys of grand fatherhood with Holden, Mara, and Fiona. Despite the end of their marital union, Michael and Debbie’s shared history and mutual respect remained a significant chapter in Michael’s life story. He leaves behind not just his immediate family but also his siblings, Peggy, Kevin, Frank, and John, who reside in New York.

Michael's legacy extends beyond his family to the countless lives he touched through his teaching, nursing, and volunteer work, including his involvement in the Parent Teacher Association (PTA), his role as his children's baseball coach and his work with the Knights of Columbus. His life was a beacon of service, compassion, and community engagement, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
