Tina Butler was born on November 21st, 1961 in San Francisco, California. Tina was preceded in death by her brother, Stanley Green.

Tina has two sisters (Linnie Andrus and JoAnne Butler) and six brothers (Timothy Moore, Joseph Butler, Stephan Mason, Leonard, Stanley and Frank Green).

Tina graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland, California. She furthered her education by attending Alameda College pursuing her higher education.

Tina gave birth to her only son, Edward Lewis III, on July 26th, 1984. Under the watchful eye of the mother who raised her, Gloria Mason, her son flourished and grew up to proudly serve in the United States Air Force. Edward was stationed at Washington D.C. and served for 9 years.

Tina was passionate about various community projects. She spent her time bringing joy to the homeless by volunteering at local shelters and assisting the elderly cleaning their homes. She also spread the Word of God to those less fortunate than herself. She was a doctor in her own right, spreading healing, love and encouraging words to the down trodden. Her sweet spirit overflowed from people to the environment. Tina spent her early mornings collecting and recycling plastic and aluminum cans. Most of her profit went towards local charities and friends.

Tina departed this life to be with her Lord on January 24th, 2017. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Edward and his wife, Amber; her 2 grandchildren, Sean and Ashley; her five brothers and two sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
