Obituary For Kasumi Maemura
Kasumi is predeceased by his wife, Sachiko Black, and his Son Koichi Maemura. Kasumi is survived by Kie Suruki – Sister, Foster City CA, Toru Tom Maemura, Son – Newark, CA, Takako Maemura, Saitama Japan, several grandkids and other relatives. After his arrival in the United States Kasumi lived in Southern California for 9 years until he moved to the bay area making a honest living as a gardener, landscaper and entrepreneur as owner operator of Tokyo Deli in Hayward until his well-deserved retirement in 1999. Upon the discovery of his illness, Kasumi remained in the Kotobuki Home in Union City. Although Kasumi was not active in his later years he enjoyed Karaoke, Shigin (Japanese Classical Singing) and card games. Visitation will be held Sunday July 16, 2017 from 12-5pm with a Chapel Service at 3PM at Fremont Memorial Chapel 3723 Peralta Blvd. Fremont Ca 94536.
